BIOGRAPHY OF MARC BOUDREAU, CONSERVATIVE PARTY CANDIDATE FOR THE ELECTORAL DISTRICT OF MONTCALM

Marc Boudreau was born in Pointe-Claire on October 1966.  Even though he spent a great part of his childhood and teenage years in Lachine with his two brothers, Sylvain and Stephane, he finds his family roots in the region of Ile Perrot, especially on his mother's side.  Son of a restaurant waitress and of a union representative, Marc soon demonstrates leadership skills while also developing a growing interest for social involvement.

Throughout his studies, Marc actively involved himself among several social or philanthropical organizations, in particular among student associations as well as within the Vaudreuil-Soulanges "Maison des Jeunes" (youth center), the Richelieu Club and the "Cirque de l'Espoir" Foundation, organizations dedicated to helping youth in need. 

He has also been an active member of the Quebec Student Parliament (Parlement Étudiant du Québec - PEQ) where, among other, he exercized the functions of Minister of Environment and passed the Quebec Charter of Environmental Rights.

He first worked in the field of petroleum products marketing before completing Law School at the University of Montreal and finally be admitted at the "Barreau du Québec" in 1993.  He practices mainly within the field of Labour Law and devotes his professional activities between the two offices he founded, one in Terrebonne and the other in Montreal.

Marc has acted as a legal consultant for many organizations and companies in addition to sitting as a member of the administration council of the Rosemont College.  He has been a member of the Montreal East-Island Chamber of Commerce before joining the ranks of the Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce and the "BNI Affaires Rive-Nord".

In 1990, he established residence in Mascouche and then definitely settled in Lachenaie where he now resides with his spouse Karen and his daughter Chloé.  Impassioned for scuba diving, nature and adventure, he intends to climb mount Kilimandjaro eventually.  His ambition as a candidate : to do constructive and positive politics while remaining directly connected with the citizens, not only during the electoral campaign, but also during the entire duration of his mandate as a Member of the House of Commons for the electoral district of Vaudreuil-Soulanges.
