TAX CREDIT
The Conservative Party of Canada is a registered political party and your contribution paid during a civil year can give you access to generous tax credits on your next federal income declaration.
The tax return depends only on the amount paid, not on taxable income. You must only submit an income declaration to be eligible to the credit. Here is how the 2008 credit is calculated :

up to 400$, 75 % credit ;

50% credit for the amount exceeding 400$ ;

For contributions over 750$, a 475$ credit plus on third of the amount exceeding 750$ up to a maximum credit of 650$ per year.
- A political party cannot receive more than 1100 $ in personal donation from the same person in a year.
A 400$ CONTRIBUTION WILL ONLY COST YOU 100$!
Conditions : I am a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada and I am making this contribution with my personal credit card and not a corporate card. I respect the maximum limit.
